some new pics...

We had a blast in Niagara Falls, although there was some minor issues with Malaia and sleeping on the first night.. but little things on the second day such as the cleaning lady turning our towels into an elephant, and Malaia getting to see Beluga whales being fed within 2 feet of her, made for a memorable trip.. Anyway here just a few of our recent photos.. The kids are growing so fast!

A much needed break

This should be a fantastic weekend! We're taking the kids to Niagara Falls, and it will include a day at Marineland. My mom, came into a little bit of money from the passing of her aunt and wanted to take Ang and I and the kids, my sister her husband and their kids and my dad away for 2 nights all expenses paid. That's my favourite kind of trip.

Having said that it should be a blast. Malaia is getting to the age where everything is super exciting to her. So I look forward to seeing her reactions to all the different animals at Marineland. And of course Koa is still young enough to sleep most of the day away, and when he's not sleeping he's as happy as can be.

Then there's the best part of it all and that is the jacuzzi suites that they've booked for us all for the 2 nights. I can just see myself now relaxing in the tub once the kids have gone to sleep, and needless to say Ang is looking forward to that more than I am. So now I just have to struggle through one more day of work, then it's as ta la vista baby. Time to chill out!!!

I"m back...

I know, I know, it's been way too long. Things have been super hectic around here, no doubt. We DID end up getting the house we put an offer in on. Which means that the conditions were met. The house insepection went better than we expected. We actually found out that we have free reign to make whatever changes we want to in the house. Based on point loads, and support walls. We actually found out that the ceiling trusses run from exterior wall to exterior wall.. Which means we could literally knock down any interior wall we wanted(and we definitely want to knock down a few). Which makes it a blank canvas for us in terms of turning into a house that makes us very happy.

The kids are changing almost daily. Koa is such a happy little guy. He's now 3 months and 1 week old. He's at the point of babydom where you get really pudgy before you hit a growth spurt. It's really cool to see him so happy except when his big sister torments him. Malaia is turning into a little girl before our eyes. She is so independant. She doesn't want help with anything at all. She wants to figure everything out for her self. She's at almost 23 months now and she has to get dressed herself and put one her shoes by herself and just about do anything without any help what so ever. in fact if you ask her if she needs help she flat out says"NO, I don't want help". I love it! It seems that now instead of learning repeating new words by the day, she is actually coming out with full sentences that are right out of left field.. So smart and I'm so proud..

Anyway, I'm back now.. Look for another blog soon..
